Eye on Adams Allows for Customizable Tracking of County Operations

Furthering its commitment to innovation and integrity, Adams County’s Business Solutions Group is introducing “Eye on Adams.” The “Eye on Adams” application will allow users to navigate maps to track land use cases, building permits, code violations and other operations in unincorporated Adams County.

This application is available on personal computers and mobile devices by following the link https://adamscounty.buildingeye.com.

“We are excited to be the first county in the nation to offer this application that will allow our residents and business owners the ability to customize the issues they want to track,” said County Manager Todd Leopold. “Users can look at everything from liquor licenses to graffiti reports and they can do it by zip code, neighborhood, commissioner districts or other customized boundaries. There is no question that our Business Solutions Group has created a citizen engagement solution that will serve as the model for other local governments to follow.”

“Eye on Adams” uses software from Building Eye to directly pull data dating back five years from Accela, the software the county’s Community & Economic Development Department uses to track permits, violations, and land use cases. The software will allow users to navigate maps, filter for areas of interest and create automated email alerts for their neighborhoods or special districts in unincorporated Adams County.

I spent an hour tonight with my new friend Levi Martinez.

A World War II Veteran who loves God and this country.

He is 93 and full of life.

I could have listened to his stories all night.

What an inspiration!!!!
